It's a fact that the customer always looks for the best price when shopping online, especially when they're going to buy with a large amount of unit. Vendor Quotation plugin for Magento 2 Marketplace extension will allow the customer to add the product to their quote instead of their cart and they can use the quote to negotiate the price with the sellers and the seller can offer their best price responding for the customer's proposal. In the side of the seller, they can decide to enable which product with Quote mode, and easily manage the request for the quotation from the customer. The seller is also able to create multiple offers depending on the different qty conditions and send the message to the customer for the negotiation.

From the Adding product form, the seller can decide to enable/disable the product with Quote mode or the Order mode. This creates the flexibility for the seller when adjusting the sales strategy from retail to wholesale

Seller can browse all customer's quotes and give the offer in response to the customer's proposal

For convince the customer to buy the product, the seller can create multiple offers with the different price for the customer to choose, the seller can also leave the message in the quote request to negotiate the price with the customer. Besides, the seller can also mark the quotation with status setup the reminder, limit the expiration time for the quotation in order to make sure not any customer's quotation is missed during the negotiation process.

After the quote request is approved by seller, the customer can select the best deal for them in the list of offer made by the seller and place the order immidiately by the new price. Similar to the seller, the customer is also able to send the message in order to negotiate the best price for them.

There are some events by that the website admin can receive the email notifications:

  • Quote is rejected notification email.
  • Quote is ordered notification email
  • New quote message notification email
In each of the event, the admin can edit the template for SMS notification.

Installation Guide

Step 1: Disable Compilation.

-         Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System -> Tools -> Compilation and disable the compilation.

-         After last step you can run the compilation process again.

Step 2. Upload package files.

-         Extract the extension package.

-         Upload all files and folder inside the step1 folder to your magento root folder.

-         After all files in step1 folder is uploaded, upload all files and folder inside the step2 folder to your magento root folder.

Step 3.  Clear cache.

-         Go to System -> Cache Management. Clear the store cache.

Step 4. Clear cache.

-         Go to System -> Cache Management. Clear the store cache.

Step 5. Re-login.

-         Log out and log back into Magento Admin Panel.
